In Case You’re Wondering Who Ann Ealy Is .

I Own Touch Omaha Bodywork And Offer A Variety of Body Therapies
To Help Relieve Your Pain
My Focus
Frederick Buechner, the American theologian, described finding
our call in life as "the place where your deep gladness
and the world’s deep hunger meet."* My deep gladness is
discovering which blends of therapies relieve the stress and
physical discomfort people suffer. Whether you hurt from injury,
illness, or chronic pain, there is likely a way to get some
relief. Maybe even alleviate it altogether. Do you struggle
with ongoing discomfort? Maybe we need to meet.
I hope the information on this website helps you decide if
what you are looking for fits the services I offer. Do you
have questions or feedback? I love to hear both.
Here’s the Short Version of My Training
(You
have a right to know I am qualified to work on your body!)
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Business from the University
of Nebraska in Lincoln. I worked in the business world for
a few years. Then I decided it was not my "deep gladness." I
was working in Chicago at the time so made my big career change
while I was there.
Massage
I am
now a licensed massage therapist, a craniosacral therapist,
also certified in ReTensioning™ and a Kripalu yoga instructor.
I received my massage training at the Chicago School of Massage
Therapy in Chicago, IL in 1995.
Yoga Retreats
The Kripalu
Center for Yoga & Health certified me as a yoga instructor
in 2002. I continue to teach at the Pony Creek Yoga Lodge.
This is where I offer 3-4 hour Retreats.
BioDynamic Craniosacral Therapy
I have
especially appreciated my training with Michael
Boxhall and use his "Getting in Touch" model
of BioDynamic Craniosacral Therapy.
Ann's Ongoing Training
There is, of course, a professional expectation of
continuous learning. I take it seriously, so participate in
regular classes. It helps me stay up-to-date with the latest
techniques. I also appreciate how it helps me blend different
therapies. Your body could easily need a variety of techniques
on any given day.
You can find me at Peaceful Hearts Holistic Foundation, 1812 N. 203 Street, Elkhorn, NE 68022. The space offers
a quiet, relaxing, and private environment for massage, Retensioning, and craniosacral work.
